The publication is addressed to students of 9th grades to prepare for the OGE in mathematics and contains tasks grouped by the types of tested skills and methods of action. Information is given about each type of assignment, analysis of examples, as well as tasks for independent implementation with detailed explanations for answers.
A manual will help students learn how to perform various types of examination tasks regardless of their content, and will also be useful to teachers and tutors in the preparation of schoolchildren for the exam.

Most often, the textbooks tell what to teach and what to do for the successful completion of tasks, but it is not paid to due attention to how to teach and how to do it. Realizing the general algorithm for performing a particular type of task, the student will be able to find a way to solve them, regardless of the characteristics of the content. The book will help students organize independent and effective preparation for the OGE and form the persistent skills necessary for the examination work
