The manual was compiled in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and with a program in mathematics for the 6th grade of a comprehensive school. It is an addition to the teaching materials of N. Ya. Vilenkin and others (M.: Mnemosina), can be used in work on other textbooks. It contains about a thousand practical tasks in which various life situations are reproduced. These tasks contribute to better assimilation of the material, develop logical thinking and ingenuity, form the ability to make calculations related to everyday life, and enhance interest in the subject.
