The textbook is intended for children with disabilities and ensures the implementation of the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject area "Mathematics" in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the Education of Students with Intellectual Disorders. The textbook consists of two parts and is a logical continuation of the mathematics textbook for grade 2. The 1st part pays much attention to the actualization of the students" knowledge and skills in the numbering of the numbers of the second dozen and the execution of addition and subtraction within 20. Some exercises presented in the textbook are aimed at mastering students with equal numerical groups (2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 5), which is a preparation for the study of multiplication and division. Multiplication and division are introduced for the first time. The performance of these actions at this stage is carried out within 20. In the 1st part, work begins on the systematization of students" knowledge about the quantities and their measures, as well as the differentiation of numbers obtained during the score and measurement. The system of tasks is aimed not only at mastering students of mathematical knowledge and skills, but also at the correction of their psychophysical development, the formation of universal educational actions. All topics of lessons are illustrated by a large number of drawings.
