Livadia Alexander II and Alexander III for the first time becomes the theme of a separate book. The palace and park ensemble in Crimea is revealed as a phenomenon of world culture and a unique monument of art of Tauric romanticism. On the basis of many previously unknown archival data, visual materials, history, visual features, the architectural image of the ensemble are recreated: the Imperial Park, the Big and Small palaces, the mountain cottage Ericlik, the Cross Exaltation and Ascension Churches, and the other development of the tsarist estate. Livadia appears as a special artistic model of the life of the imperial family of post -reform Russia, generation of late romanticism, carried away by the phenomenon of the mythopoietic images of Taurida.
