The main objectives of the class of grade 8 are to form an idea of ​​the communicative -pragmatic orientation of the work, manifested in the system of relations "author - reader". The textbook includes works of different genres of domestic and foreign literature. The methodological apparatus of the textbook is aimed at developing reader culture, figurative and analytical thinking, oral and written speech among schoolchildren.
