The training manual discusses nodal works of the historical and literary process of the 20th century. It presents both the works created in Russia and the masterpieces of literary creativity published in exile. Some of them belong to the so -called "returned" literature, the analysis of which entered the literary layer relatively recently.
Much attention in the manual is given to poetry. In this regard, the era of the Silver Age is especially remarkable. The book gives detailed tests of the poems of L.A. Blok, S.A. Yesenina, V.V. Mayakovsky, M.I. Tsvetaeva, A.A. Akhmatova, B.L. Pasternaka.
The poetry of the second half of the 20th century is represented by the names B.C. Vysotsky, A.A. Voznesensky, N.M. Rubtsova, B.A. Akhmadulina, I.A. Brodsky. The section "Drama" examines the works of M. Gorky, V.V. Mayakovsky, A.V. Vampilova.
