The textbook, developed in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of the NOO, is intended to study the subject Literary reading in the native (Russian) language. The content of the manual is based on Russian folklore taking into account the age characteristics of children. The texts are selected in such a way as to form a holistic idea of ​​the Russian language as the national property of the Russian people, the traditions and character of the Russian people, their spiritual and cultural values. Working with the manual will expand the horizons of students, enrich their speech, develop speech culture and improve communication skills. A part of the texts is read by the teacher.
