The ethrade contains verification work for organizing thematic control in literary reading lessons in grade 3. The proposed tasks will not only help to determine how successfully the third -grader masters subject skills, but also create conditions for the formation of the student’s self -esteem. The publication presents two equivalent options. Verification work (seven of them in each option) are carried out to identify the level of primary assimilation of subject results on literary reading in grade 3. The work contains tasks of the basic and increased level of difficulty. In the middle of the notebooks, methodological recommendations for the teacher are given. The final diagnostic verification work for the year is also proposed. A notebook can be used when working with any teaching materials
