This manual contains a system of tasks for the formation of reader literacy. These tasks are aimed at learning to search, extract and understand the text (and, to a certain extent, non -textual) information, as well as to teach to evaluate, transform and use this information to solve problems in educational and everyday life. The manual includes not only artistic works of different genres, but also information texts. A variety of types of tasks and texts of different types and genres allow us to prepare students for different forms of school control.
The system of tasks and the nature of the literary works proposed in the manual consistently develop reader competencies, arouse interest in reading, contribute to the general development of the child, his spiritual, moral and aesthetic education, and also form the ability to critical and creative thinking.
This publication can be recommended not only for individual training and self -training of the second -grader, but also in lesson activities (for training and intermediate control), as well as in extracurricular activities. In any case, the proposed training materials are universal: they can be used in combination with textbooks of any educational and methodological sets
