The textbook "Literary Reading" for grade 4 completes the line of literary education of younger students and provides propaedeutics of studying literature in a primary school. The main goal of the course is to familiarize students with the history of the emergence and development of children"s literature - from its folklore sources to the present. In the learning process, the circle of children"s reading expands, students read works of different genres, analyze artistic texts. Particular attention is paid to the motivation for reading aloud and to oneself.
