The manual sets out issues of the theory of linear algebra for solving systems of linear algebraic equations and linear programming as part of a course in mathematics for technical universities and secondary vocational education. The manual contains the basic theoretical provisions of linear algebra and some of its practical applications, such as matrix calculus, vector algebra and analytical geometry in a two -dimensional and three -dimensional Euclidean space, which allows you to solve practical engineering problems. Much attention is paid to the consideration of quadratic forms and their geometric illustration. In addition, this manual considers such an interesting application of linear algebra as linear programming, with which optimization tasks are solved. Some physical, engineering and even economic applications of linear algebra are also given, which is important for students to understand the world.
