Mikhail Yakovlevich Groman (1939, Moscow)-poet and artist, who belonged to the circle of Moscow-non-conformists in the 1960s, one of the leaders and ideologists of the second Russian avant-garde. In 1971 he moved to Israel, where he immediately recorded in his diary “I have everything you need a simple mortal: talent, family, friends, freedom, new life”. As in Russia (diaries "Leviathan", NLO, 2002), the artist is experimenting with various artistic practices, contrasting the local academic establishment Search for new paths and various extraordinary projects. In the records that compiled this book (1971-1980), the Chronicle of the life of Israeli bohemia, literary and household everyday life is detailed in detail. Impressions of new circumstances and acquaintances, stories about exhibitions and museums, literary gatherings, disputes and promotions are interspersed with thoughts about life and art
