The manual proposes a system of work on learning alternative communication of non -speaking children of young and children with pronounced speech impairments, for which oral speech is not available in most cases. Developing games, entertaining tasks and exercises are aimed at enriching and expanding the lexical reserve of the child, the formation of the skill of understanding and using simple grammatical forms of a word, phrasal speech, the development of the ability to build sentences using icons, gestures and words-tables, dialogical and monologue speech using means additional communication. The materials of the manual will help activate the participation of children in the pedagogical process, facilitate their communication, which will contribute to their comprehensive development and further adaptation and socialization in society.
