Personal exhibition K.V. Edelstein continues to the 100th anniversary of his birth on the 100th anniversary of his birth, dedicated to the heritage of art of the 20th century, and opens the work of the artist, almost unknown to the modern viewer. However, the name of Konstantin Vitalievich is clearly familiar among monumental artists, to the workshop of which he belonged from the very beginning of his professional activity. He studied at the monumental department of the Picture of the Faculty of Vkhutin, worked in the workshop of monumental painting at the Academy of Architecture of the USSR, organized by L.A. Bruni and V.A. Favorsky, and after its closure, in the plant of the decorative and forming art of SC RSFSR. At the end of his life, already retired, he continued to work in monumental art, collaborating with young artists. His experience and knowledge were highly valued, but his main interest aroused his personality, his thoughts on art, memories of teachers and comrades-artists.
