The book is based on a topology course, which was read by the first and second -year students of NMU, as well as American students as part of the Math in Moscow program. The first part is the general introduction to the topology, with an emphasis on small geometric objects (columns, surfaces, curves on plane, nodes) and their invariants (Eiler characteristics, degree of display of the circumference, the degree of point relative to the curve, fundamental group) The second part is the introduction into algebraic topology, including homotopic groups, cellular, symlucial and singular homologies, together with such a classic as the duality of Poincare, the theory of obstacles, the Gurevich, Hopf-Uite, Lefshatz, Eillenberg-Maclaine, vector stratification.
