Introduction to the theory of oscillations. Textbook

The textbook is compiled on the basis of a course of lectures on the theory of fluctuations that were read by the author at the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov in 1950-1960.
The presented course sets out the basic laws of oscillatory processes in physics, as well as methods of theoretical research and calculating the simplest oscillatory systems.
The choice of material and the nature of the presentation is largely determined by the scientific traditions of the department, formed under the influence of the lectures of its founder Academician L.I. Mandelstam.
The book is addressed to students of universities and higher technical educational institutions.
