The material is divided into three parts. The first introduces the reader to the place that biophysics occupies in the system of our knowledge about the world around us, thermodynamics of life, and the self -organization of biosystems.
In the second part, phenomena in biological objects and systems are studied as part of a model of motion of classical particles in biological objects. The phenomena of ion conduction, diffusion, electrophoresis, passive and active transport are considered.
The third part is devoted to the consideration of bio -objects at the level of atoms and molecules. The structure and properties of biopolymers molecules, issues of the interaction of the electromagnetic field with atoms and molecules, and the phenomenon of magnetic resonance are considered.
A textbook is intended for students studying in the direction of "Biotechnical Systems and Technologies"
