Antonen Arto (1896-1948) - French poet and prose writer, screenwriter and playwright, theater and film actor, director and theorist of the theater, philosopher and publicist, artist and scenographer. The early period of his theatrical searches and literary creativity was under the obvious influence of surrealists. The Alfred Jarry Theater created by the Arta, from 1927 to 1929 and became the largest phenomenon of surrealism in theatrical art.
