The book, prepared by the Brothers Lumiere Center, is about those who were seated by the whole family in front of an old TV, whose songs were copied on antediluvian tape recorders with large babins, whose films were watched a hundred times, whose records and discoveries were proud ... This is a date with their loved ones Actors and directors, singers and artists, musicians and scientists ... Among the unique works are photographs of Yuri Nikulin and Evgeny Leonova, young Alla Pugacheva, who first came to act in the Central Television program, and George Zhzhenova, who photographed on a passport in the hospital ward ... Favorite heroes of the whole country were seen by the sharp eyes of the best photomasters of those years: Yakov Halipa, Mikola Gnisyuk, Leo Sherstennikov, Igor Kalmin, Vasily Egorov, Vladimir Plotnikov, Miroslav Murazov, Vladimir Musaelian and many others. Their pictures retained the direct emotionality of the time and the scale of the personality of the heroes. The book “Icon 1960-1980” offers the audience a meeting with the past.
