Vladimir Yakovlevich Motyl (1927-2010) was not only a brilliant director and author of scripts of all his favorite films, such as “White Sun of the Desert”, “Zhenya, Zhenya and Katyusha”, “Star of captivating happiness”, but also with a talented teacher, theorist Cinema, publicist. This is confirmed by the prepared N. Galadzheva collection, which first publishes decryptions of lecture records read at the highest courses of screenwriters and directors, as well as articles and essays of different years. V. Ya. Motyl talks in detail about all the stages of film production, ranging from writing the script, selecting actors to the installation of the filmed material (the theoretical article “Installation-82”) and the film distribution is devoted to the last question.
