This methodological manual is addressed to speech therapists, correctional teachers and parents, continues the series "I read by syllables" and is devoted to the study of the second reading unit (syllables from the vowel "y").
The purpose of the manual is to teach a syllable reading, the formation of a child’s subject dictionary, auditory and visual gnosis and attention, auditory -speech and visual memory, the development of thinking, arbitrary and game activity of the child. The technique is used in correctional work with non-speaking children 3-5 years old, as well as with children with various speech disorders. This manual is also used in learning to read preschool children 5-6 years.
This manual is developed on the basis of the methodology for teaching children with severe speech impairments of the candidate of pedagogical sciences Reznichenko and can be used as an additional material to "entertaining literal".
Methodological recommendations:
The manual consists of 40 cards with a vowel "y", 67 pictures to words starting on a syllable with a vowel "U", 24 pictures with syllabic signatures for reading and making words, 10 pictures for sentences and 10 signatures to him.
Slovers are presented in the manual in the recommended sequence. The study begins with the syllables "mu", "PU", "BU", "Shu", etc.
Studying every new syllable, we offer the child cards with pictures, the names of which begin on this syllable ("Luna" - Moon, Puddle, Lupa, onion, "Mu" - flour, fly, garbage, flywheel, "probe" - Pike, tentacles) After repeated repetition and differentiation of pictures on the presence of the studied syllable in them (“put pictures with the syllable "l” in this envelope or box, and pictures with the syllable" mu "in another"), we proceed to the compilation of words (from "mu" and " H “turns out the word“ fly ”, from "p” and" ka " -" pike ", first with the visual support, and then without it).
Understanding that the child has learned new syllables and easily chooses the necessary syllables from the available syllables, cut off the word with scissors and cross it to the back of the picture. Now we can use a bilateral card: the child reads the word, after which we turn the card and check the correctness of the read. The second version of the assignment: Looking at the picture, the child independently makes up the word from syllables, turning the card, we check the correctness of the word.
Studying syllables with a vowel "y" gives us the opportunity to read not just words, but already sentences. The manual presents pictures for 10 sentences and syllabic signatures to these pictures. We recommend that first cut sentences into words and syllables and work on the preparation of the right sentences (“Compose, please, from these syllables (Paula La La) sentence:“ Chapa gave a paw ”) Then we glue the proposal on the back of the picture and read, checking using the coup.
Children studying the second block of reading, we recommend playing paired syllables (Memory) The game in paired cards contributes to the development of visual attention and memory, automates the skill of reading syllables.
Methods of teaching a syllable reading teaches non -speaking children to recognize syllables, pronounce them and add words and sentences from familiar syllables. On the basis of syllabic reading in speech, words arise and are reinforced with repeated reading.
In each lesson with an incomplete child, we recommend that we study one new syllable, as well as repeat previously passed syllables, regularly read and independently fold the words from the cards. Thus, this complex is designed for 20 classes. Children engaged in preparing for schooling (5-6 years) are able to study 2-3 new syllables in the lesson and learn this complex for about 8-10 classes
