Having received a lot of positive reviews from speech therapists, correctional teachers and parents, we continue the series "I love poems". The purpose of this manual is also the development of understanding of the addressed speech, the formation of the child’s dictionary, the formation of dialogue, the development of auditory attention and auditory-speech memory, the development of visual gnosis. We paid special attention to the selection of poetic material to the development of thinking.
Our poetic stories teach the child to establish a sequence of events, causal relationships, which contributes to the formation of verbal-logical thinking. Another important goal is the formation of adequate social behavior on the basis of the correct ideas about social interaction.
The manual is intended for children with speech disorders of various severity, children with RAS, ZPR, ZRR from 4 to 7 years old.
An important task of the manual is the formation of interest in the poetic text, reading aloud. Children with difficulties in understanding the addressed speech and the features of attention are often not interested in reading aloud, close the book, barely starting to listen. Our game manual, which includes bright, but simple, not burdened by excess details, will interest the baby and instill interest in listening to texts.
Methodological recommendations:
The manual consists of 5 poems, 8 large cards and 42 small cards.
You need to play the poetic lotto as follows: first it is necessary to cut out a set of small pictures and lay them out in a chaotic manner, as well as put a large card before the child. In the application to the manual, you will find texts of poems that are located in the sequence recommended for studying. When reading the child text, make logical pauses and first together find a picture corresponding to a fragment of the text. Then look for this pattern on a large card and cover it with a card. Continue reading and searching for illustration. Very soon, the child will be able to cope with this game task without the help of an adult. Work on each poem for at least 4-7 days, then proceed to study the next story.
In the process of such classes, the child will learn to understand the poetic text, begins to understand the causal relationships and sequence of the events of the plot, and will begin to use new words in speech. Due to the use of new words and phrases, the child’s speech will become richer and brighter.
Repeting of poems in a playful way contributes to the development of memory, playing several times in a poetic lotto, the child will easily learn the work.
Our stories always contain humor, and this is no coincidence. Special children do not always understand humorous subtext, and in the process of classes we set the task of teaching them to understand the comicism of life situations on the example of poetic works.
The playing interactive form of the lesson on this manual allows the child to actively act with the manual, which increases his motivation for educational activities. The game in the poetic lotto allows you to develop communication and cooperation with an adult
