The monograph discusses the figurative and semantic paradigms of the historiosophical myth in the works of I.S. Turgenev, F.M. Dostoevsky, N.S. Leskova, L.N. Tolstoy. The study leads to the conclusion that the philosophy of history artistically embodied in the analyzed works finds expression not only in its direct socio-historical and cultural-historical projections, but also in meta-pointoric ones through a number of mythologized invariant forms. Among the most significant invariants, figurative and semantic models of the solar-chief, serpentine, eschatological myth, and the myth of initiation are typologically stand out. A significant place in the monograph is also devoted to the analysis of the processes of myth -making and demifologization as multidirectional ways to embody historiosophical concepts in the literary text, as well as the role of artistic reflection in these processes.
