Historical weapons. Monuments, collections, peculiarities of research. Issue 3

Collective labor combined relevant research in the field of weapons on a wide range of scientific problems. The presented works are developing specific issues on the main areas of studying historical weapons: protective weapons, cold weapons, hand -made weapons and artillery, military equipment, ammunition and uniforms. A separate section of labor is devoted to research on the history of weapons collections. A number of major problems of modern weapons were also affected by the author’s team. A significant part of the articles is devoted to the study of specific monuments included in the meetings of the central Russian museums: museums of the Moscow Kremlin, the State Hermitage, the State Historical Museum, the Military Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineering and Communications forces, the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and several other meetings.
