The exhibition "gods, people, heroes" is a large -scale project of the State Hermitage, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples and the archaeological park of Pompeii, including more than 200 monuments of ancient art, including exhibits from the Pompeysky Assembly of the Hermitage. The exhibition and the catalog represent frescoes, mosaics, sculpture, works of decorative and applied art, objects of everyday life showing a high level of socio-economic development of the society of that time. Glass items, bronze products, ceramic vessels, furniture and parts of the interiors recreate the habits of the Romans, who lived 2000 years ago, their life and leisure, lifestyle.
