In the monograph, the work of V.V. Mayakovsky is considered in the communicative-diagnostic paradigm as part of the solution to the problem of genre nominations based on generic syncretization. For the first time, a multidimensional analysis of lyrical, lyro-epic and dramatic works of V.V. Mayakovsky, a connection between the phenomenon of generic syncretism and the myth -making artist is established. The work determines the main indicators of generic syncretism, which reveals the aesthetic significance and integrity of the poet’s creative heritage, returns to the literary texts "self -worth", and also determines the boundaries of tradition and innovation in synchrony and diachrony. All this allows you to rethink the legacy of the great "lighthouse", its role in domestic and world art and give an objective assessment of creativity.
