Frankenstein. Genuine story

In May 1816, five people spent evenings on the shores of Lake Geneva. Mary Shelley with her husband is the famous poet Persia Bishi Shelley and his half -sister Clermont, writer and doctor John Polydori and the legendary by that time John Bairon did not know what to occupy himself. One fine day, Lord Byron proposed a bet, which will win the one who writes the most terrible, the most "supernatural" story. The result of this competition was the birth of Demon Frankenstein, who was the most frightening in the history of the world literature of the novel. No one expected that the heroes who had never been written before would create a hero who, after many years, would drive the writer crazy and herself.
This publication publishes a substantially supplemented version, which was published in 1831. The history of the creation of the most monstrous novel is told in the travel essays of Mary and Percy Shelley, which they wrote during their forced imprisonment in the villa in Switzerland.
