The main subject of the monograph is fragmentation as a form of a fundamentally incomplete work, a significant part of the design of which is a new type of reading, excluding once and for all the frozen unity of the work. This type of reading is already built into the matter of the text by the author himself, trying to collect the whole of fragments. This means that the fragment is the only adequate form of the plan, nevertheless, which is presented as integrity. At the turn of the XIX - XX centuries. A special type of fragmentation arises, only partly inherits the traditions of romanticism. In fragmented forms, not only unrealized ideas are hidden, but also the very impossibility of a plan in an era that feels in the fullness of monumental culture. The fragment remains after the subdivated movement of thought through attempts to oblivion of the monumental values of culture: from the impossible idea to an “invisible” result. This paradox of thinking of the era should still be investigated
