Vladimir Yakovlevich PrPP-an outstanding domestic philologist, professor of the University of Leningrad, one of the founders of a structural and typological approach in folklore, who later received widespread use in literary criticism. The works of V. Ya. Proppa on the study of folklore (“Morphology of the Tale”, 1928, “Historical Roots of a fairy tale”, 1946, “Russian Heroic Epos”, 1958, “Russian Agrarian Holidays”, 1963) entered the Golden Fund of World Science of the twentieth century
