American physicist Richard Feynman is one of the greatest physicists of the twentieth century, creator of quantum electrodynamics, Nobel Prize winner, but, first of all, an outstanding multifaceted person who does not fit into the usual framework of the “man of science”.
At one time, teachers of California Technological University thought about how to rebuild the physics course in order to make it more entertaining and modern. The presentation of the material in old textbooks was so boring that it repelled the hunting for teaching even the most zealous students. Richard Feynman enthusiastically picked up this idea and developed a new, author"s course of lectures on general physics. Giveing these lectures, he, in his own words, focused on the most smart and gifted, but tried to take into account the interests of the student who could alarm and re -confuse the whole fireworks, and built the material so that even this student remained in his head The main core and understanding that it can get in the future, continuing the study of physics at a more serious level.
This publication includes the first, introductory part of lectures on the general laws of nature
