In the book, which is a continuation of the monograph published in 2017, the Anatolian Mosque of the XI - XV centuries, the architecture of the Muslim religious buildings of the Ottoman Empire from the XIV to the beginning of the XX century. Particular attention is paid to the complexity and development of the architectural type of “Big Ottoman Mosque”, which has become a kind of “visiting card” of the entire Ottoman culture. The place of the workshop of the architect Sinan in the history of the Ottoman and Muslim religious architecture as a whole, the adaptation of the Ottoman architecture of the XVIII - XIX centuries are analyzed. European samples, the search for the national style in the construction practice of the last decades of the existence of the Ottoman state. Many considered monuments are involved in the study of the history of Ottoman cult architecture for the first time.
