The book of an outstanding philosopher, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences A. A. Huseynov included selected scientific articles, notes, performances, interviews after 2012. These are reflections on morality and its place in culture, philosophy as an ethical project, about ethics and its place in philosophy, moral problems, non -resistance to evil. The author talks about the great philosophers of the past and the present, his colleagues, about life in the profession.
Academician Huseynov, who considers morality (morality) as an expression of the will of man, as a living, the life beginning of culture, believes that ethics is not just part of philosophy, but its original motive and basic pathos, that the role and place of philosophy and ethics in Public space is determined by their ability to authorize an individually responsible way of existence in the world.
