Paulsen Publishing House by order of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Federal Agency for State Reserves and the Foundation "Club Adventure" issued the book "Eternal permafrost to guard the quality of products. The treasure of Eduard Tolya ".
"centuries -old endurance" - usually they say that about cognac or wine. But other products can be stored for decades without loss of quality! To do this, you need to place them in the eternal permafrost - as the scientist Eduard Tola did in the distant 1900. The warehouse of Toll, and today we can safely say "Tolla"s treasure", was opened on July 27, 1973 by participants in the polar expedition of the Komsomolskaya Pravda on Cape Depot on the western coast of the Taimyr Peninsula. An amazing find became a starting point for a focused experiment on long -term storage of food products (and not only products) in natural cold. Studies that have begun in the USSR are underway to this day and expand. The following generations will continue them: some of the samples are waiting in the wings on the distant Taimyr.
On the pages of the new book, the reader will find a story about the expedition of E.V. Toll, who searched the mysterious land of Sannikov, and the most important results of the scientific work obtained during the already five Arctic expeditions at Cape Depot. This publication is intended for both specialists and a wide range of readers - everyone who is interested in history and the unique natural capabilities of the Arctic.
