The book of Alexei Dzhiveegov is dedicated to the Chinkwecento, the Italian 16th century, when Rafael, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Titian, Tintoretto and dozens of other great masters were performed on the Apennines. But the book of Javelov is not about artists, although a lot is said about them, but about the special category of mental work, which was born in the maiden - intelligentsia, it, in the expression of the author, "dark debuts". There are three typical figures in the center of the story: Baldessar Castillion is the author of the “court”, the most famous composition of Chinkwecento, Pietro Aretino, nicknamed his pamphlets "Beach of the sovereigns", and the brilliant sculptor Benvenuto Cellini. The witty, vanity, courageous, woven from contradictions - the true sons of the time in which everyone was for themselves - they lived with a sense of lack of freedom, sought to preserve their own face as much as they could and zealously served their patrons.
