Equilibrium in electrolyte solutions. Calculations with Mathcad

The textbook consists of two parts. In the first part of the manual, the main types of ion equilibrium in aqueous solutions are considered. In detail, the algorithms of quantitative calculations of acid-base and heterogeneous equilibrium in solutions of electrolytes, including using the mathematical package MathCAD, are examined in detail. The chapters of the first part include theoretical material, numerous examples of solving problems with explanations, control tasks that can be used by students studying the courses “Chemistry”, “Physical Chemistry” when performing independent work. The second part of the manual is devoted to the features of the use of various versions of the MathCAD program in addition to solving individual problems associated with the calculations of chemical equilibrium in solutions of electrolytes, including an applied nature.
The manual is intended for students studying in the areas of training and specialties included in the UGC: “Chemistry”, “Physics”, “Chemical Technologies”, “Technologies of Materials”, “Technology and Construction Technologies” and other areas where it is provided for The course of physical chemistry.
