The manual presents the content and pedagogical technologies of the organization of the educational process in a preschool educational institution in the educational field "Cognitive Development". Variable forms, methods, means of implementing the tasks of cognitive development of preschoolers are disclosed. Attention has been paid to the organization of educational activities, the development of cultural practices and methods of supporting children"s initiatives. When compiling the manual, the experience of kindergartens of St. Petersburg was used. The publication is addressed to educators, children"s garden methodologists, students and teachers of pedagogical educational institutions.
