The book is dedicated to raising children in the spirit of Russian cultural traditions. The main goal of the publication is the development of cognitive interest, the formation of ideas about the life of ancestors, the specifics of folk culture. The manual presents a folk agricultural and festive calendar, on the basis of which scenarios of playing educational situations, as well as leisure activities are developed.
The content of the book is presented in two parts by month, from September to August. The first part contains scenarios of playing educational situations of the cognitive cycle and productive activities, children"s folklore holidays and leisure activities from September to February, in the second part - scripts from March to August, i.e. The entire cycle of agricultural calendar is presented.
