ECERS-3. Scales for a comprehensive assessment of the quality of education in preschool educational organizations

The ECERS-3 scale is an processed edition ECERS-R and includes changes made both in the content and in the use of the scale. ECERS-3 is designed to assess the quality of educational activities of preschool organizations implementing educational programs for children from 2.5 to 5 years.
The scales can be used by the heads of preschool organizations to evaluate the effectiveness of their activities and improve the quality of work, educators - for self -esteem, employees of regulatory authorities - for monitoring.
The worldly recognized reliability and validity of the scales ECERS-3 make them especially useful for studying the activities and assessing the quality of the formation of preschool organizations.
In the ECERS-3, six subsidies are used: 1) the subject-spatial environment, 2) the supervision and care of children, 3) speech and literacy, 4) types of activity, 5) interaction, 6) structuring the program. Each of them provides for a 7-point assessment: 1 (unsatisfactory), 3 (minimally), 5 (good) and 7 (excellent) To increase the accuracy of evaluating each of the qualitative indicators, explanations and examples are added to the book. In addition to complete instructions for use and evaluation, an estimated sheet and quality profile that can be reupered are also attached to the scales
