The book of the famous St. Petersburg writer and scientist Alexander Laskin includes a documentary novel "Long Traveling with the Diaghilevs" and the documentary story "parallel cinema". Based on many archival materials, the novel tells about the history of six generations of one of the most talented Russian clans. The dramatic story tells about the fate of the novel awarded the Tsarskoye Selo Prize and filmed at the Lenfilm studio. However, the main success of the author is due to the fact that thanks to interest in Diaghilev, he became friends with the historian of the ballet Yu. Slonimsky, director V. Vinogradov and poet V. Krivulin. They became the heroes of the second part of the book.
