The eighth volume of the "dictionary of the language of Russian poetry of the XX century" contains more than 3,500 vocabulary articles. The poetic lines from the sources of the dictionary - works of ten outstanding poets of the Silver Age: I. Annensky, A. Akhmatova, A. Blok, S. Yesenin, M. Kuzmin, O. Mandelstam, V. Mayakovsky B. Pasternak, V. Khlebnikova, M. Tsvetaeva. In the articles, these lines are chronologically ordered, they make it possible to judge both the rhythm of the encirclement of the title word, and the "increments of meaning" in himself, and the history of the word in the poetic language of the era. All lines-content are accompanied by ciphers, in the conditional article, respectively, Ann909, AHM912, AB914, EU915, Kuz916, OM918, M920, P921, HL921, CV935. In necessary cases, lights and brief comments are given to the heading of "articles and contexts. The dictionary demonstrates the diversity and expressiveness of the language of poetry and the "artistic memory" of his words. Enriching our aesthetic horizons, it helps to clarify the impressions of the lines that have long been beloved by the reader.
