Irina Alexandrovna Antonova is the only museum figure whose name is widely known not only in a professional circle. The legendary Director of the Mlibum named after Pushkin, a man in love with the great art of the past and discovered contemporary artists for us, the innovator of museum business, she knew how to not only show art within the walls of her museum, but also to talk about it, infecting with her enthusiasm, her love. Since the 60s, she gave lectures on art, and for the last twenty years of her life she led the author’s program “The Fifth Dimension”, which has become an anthology of stories about artists, paintings, museums, collectors.
