Design and implementation of correctional courses for students with delayed mental development

The training manual reveals the main content of the program of correctional work, which is the mandatory part of the adapted basic educational program of basic general education (AOOP LLC) students with mental retardation (ZPR), describes the system of work of psychological and pedagogical support specialists, and the detailed content of the course of courses is corrected correctly -developing area "correctional and developmental classes": "Psycho-correctional classes (psychological and defectological)" and "speech therapy classes". Programs of courses of a psychologist, a defectologist and speech therapist teacher contain a description of the correctional approaches, special techniques and types of activities of students with ZPR, thematic planning for years of study in grades 5-9, and requirements for the educational result of the development of correctional courses are revealed in them. The planned results of mastering the correctional work program presents requirements for the formation of the skills of life competencies of students with ZPR in training at the level of basic education.
The manual is addressed to psychologists, defectologists, and speech therapists of educational organizations that carry out psychological and pedagogical support of students with ZPR at the level of general general education.
