Kaperev is a brilliant Russian teacher and psychologist. His merit is the creation of a single school system of psychologically substantiated didactics, the theory of developing learning. He discovered for teachers a living and diverse world of aspirations and hobbies of the child, vague and bright, confused and certain, revealed the depth and significance of the mental characteristics of children and the features of the children"s mind.
Pedagogical heritage P.F. Kaptereva is today the largest in the history of pedagogical thought in Russia, it covers the theory and practice of family and public, preschool and school education, general and pedagogical education, as well as the history of Russian pedagogy.
