The book is dedicated to the Commune House Cultural Revolution-the most large and most fully implemented project of socialization of life in the Gorky of the early 1930s. What was the experiment with the communes and why did it end so early? Are there any reasons why one of the five commune houses lasted longer than the rest in Nizhny Novgorod?
