The book discusses the issues of contextual conditioning of the meanings of words, phrases and sentences, analyzes methods of removing the multi -digitized linguistic units in real communicative acts, gives a characteristic of formal and semantic factors participating in the creation of unambiguous meaning both within the framework of words and phrases and within the whole text . Along with the elements of the rules of semantic compatibility of lexical units, the rules for the functioning of grammatical constructions within the framework of semantic relations of the text (implications, presuppositions, etc) are also considered. The work is saturated with examples taken from works of various styles, on the basis of which recommendations are made using contextual conditions for an adequate transmission of thought.
