The monograph by the Slovenian literary critic Yanez Rostko is devoted to the analysis of the work of the poet of the avant-garde, prose writer and publicist Srechko Kosovel (1904-1926), who made a significant contribution to the development of constructivism and European avant-garde poetry. The study provides extensive material (works, diaries, letters), indicating the influence of the poet of the worldview and the aesthetics of Russian constructivism. The work sums up the many years of dispute of Slovenian literary criticism about the uniqueness of the poetics of the Kosovel. The application gives the works of a braid with a parallel translation into Russian, as well as a detailed bibliography. The publication is addressed to literary scholars, culturalists, art historians, specialists in the European and Russian avant -garde, all of those interested in the culture of Slovenia
