This book is the fruit of many years of analysis of various computer -program technologies used today by existing sound engineers and future colleagues - students of the departments of sound engineering of higher educational institutions. The author was among the first professionals of musical sound engineering in St. Petersburg (then Leningrad), who in the 90s of the last century began the development of new technological methods of working with sound, the development of computer sound stations.
The book is addressed, first of all, to sound engineers, and it considers those technological capabilities of working stations that are directly related to sound, its recording, processing, existence in film production, with its creation in composer work.
