This volume opens the collected works of a vivid writer, literary critic, critic, film expert and filmspop V.B. Shklovsky (1893-1984) The paradoxical style of thought, the aphorism of the letter, the unique intonation made this author an interesting witness of the era, a subtle researcher of the artistic language and at the same time its innovator. The task of this fundamentally new composition of the meeting is to show all the wealth of the diverse literary heritage of Shklovsky. Little -known, archival and never reprinted, scattered in many inaccessible publications are introduced into the circulation. The first volume accounts for more than 70 such works. The conceptual core of this volume is the historical figure of the revolution, permeating the autobiographical and theoretical texts of Shklovsky, his letters and reviews, his struggle for a new artistic form and new forms of everyday life, his articles about literature and cinema. The second volume (figure) will be devoted to the memoir-autobiographical measurement of Shklovsky"s work
