The album first presents a kind of demand for a "ringing coin", the symbolism of the people recognized as a people. The presence of coins from different countries, often in the same subject, expressed regular trade, historical contacts and cognitive openness, which has long been characteristic of the peoples of Russia - the largest power of Eurasia.
There are about 300 exhibits on various ethnographic topics in the album: women"s costume and jewelry, as well as weapons, ritual items.
Selected exhibits are representative relative to the collection of objects with coins, numbering about 1,500 units.
In the structure of the album, a regional approach is applied, characterizing coins in the contexts of the traditional culture of peoples of various historical and cultural areas.
The book is addressed to ethnographers, culturalists, fashion designers, all readers interested in folk art traditions
