The center of consideration of the monograph is the problem of individualizing the development of the subjectivity of schoolchildren, which is proposed to be carried out through the purposeful development of cognitive strategies of schoolchildren.
The monograph discusses the problems of individualization of education, specify the essence of the concepts "subjectivity", "training", "teaching", "cognitive development", "abilities", "learning", "reflection", "intellectual operations".
The author introduces the concept of "cognitive strategy" as an independent unit of accumulation of cognitive experience, offers the classification of strategies, methods of studying them, determines the place of cognitive strategies in the structure of individual experience, considers the basics of designing educational technology, offers the technology of targeted development of cognitive strategies (CRPS ).
The results of empirical studies of cognitive strategies for schoolchildren are given. The general educational and special cognitive strategies of schoolchildren presented in the publication have not previously been described in psychological and pedagogical literature.
